Project: Biodiversity audit at the ArcelorMittal Warsaw site to meet the requirements of the Responsible Steel standard.
Ansee’s scope:
- field surveys of protected habitats and animal and plant species,
- conducting an assessment of the steelworks’ ecosystem and its surroundings,
- analysis of direct and indirect impacts on the landscape,
- consultations with stakeholders (local communities, government agencies, associations),
- analysis of the importance of ecosystem services for the well-being of communities living in the area of influence,
- development of a Biodiversity Management Plan (BMP), preparation of recommendations, and an implementation schedule.
